Warranty Coverage

  • All products of Avon Cycles Ltd. are covered for 1 year warranty against any manufacturing defects. The defective rubber parts (Tyres & Tubes Only) will be replaced within 7 days from the date of delivery.
  • This limited warranty shall not be seen or interpreted in any manner whatsoever to suggest or infer that the Avon Cycle is imperishable or will last forever.
  • This limited warranty is exclusive to the original owner of an Avon Cycle and is not transferable to subsequent owners.
  • The limited warranty is applicable on consumables, including forks (suspension or rigid) during six months from the date of purchase for the original owner.
  • This limited warranty will not hold if the Avon Cycle is subjected to neglect, improper repair, and maintenance, modification, an accident, excessive, or improper use.
  • This limited warranty applies only to bicycles purchased from Authorized Avon Retailers or other outlets specifically authorized by Avon to sell Avon Cycles. To find a list of Authorized Avon Cycle Retailers, please visit our website www.avonCycles.com and go to Store Locator.

Warranty Exclusions

The following are specifically excluded from the coverage of this limited warranty.

  • Any defect arising due to normal wear and tear, improper assembly, or subsequent maintenance.
  • Installation or changes made to the components, parts, or accessories not originally intended for or compatible with the Avon Cycle.
  • Paint or Sticker color fading caused due by ultraviolet light (UV) or outdoor exposure.
  • Damage or malfunction caused due to accident, misuse, abuse, or neglect.
  • Normal wear and tear, scratches, or damage caused due to the use of chemicals, improper storage, and parking.

When Avon Cycles used for the following activities

  • Used in any competitive sport
  • Used for stunt riding, jumping, aerobatics, or similar activity
  • Modified in any way
  • Modified with the addition of a motor
  • Ridden by more than one person at a time
  • Rented, sold, or given away

Remedy And Limitation of Liability

This warranty is specifically limited to the repair or replacement of a defective part, and any such repair or replacement is the only remedy under this warranty. All labour charges incurred during warranty service, including the transfer of components and/or any installation of new parts/components, are to be borne by the owner of the Cycle. If some products are redundant or no more available for older models, the sourcing and payment of these components will be the responsibility of the Cycle owner.

  • Avon or any of its affiliates cannot be held responsible for any damages that are indirect, incidental.
  • Colour of the Cycle frame and stickers are subject to availability at the time of claim.
  • Decision about the type of damage will be taken by the Company and communicated to the customer before initiating the repair.

Frame And Mechanicals

  • The Frame is tested for road and city use only. Any use outside the designed environment cancels the warranty. Replacement or repair will be solely at the discretion of the Company.
  • Any fault in the frame will only be serviced by Avon Cycles approved technician. Warranty will be void if serviced by someone other than Avon Cycles approved technician.
  • The cost, including replacement of parts, of any genuine fault that falls within the warranty period will be borne by the Company. 
  • Labour costs will be separate and borne by the user.
  • Damage due to rough use, natural mishap, accidents, improper storage, natural wear, or intentional damage by the user will not come within the purview of the warranty. Damage assessment will be done and communicated to the customer before repairing.
  • Natural wear and tear, scratches, peeling of Paint and all coatings initiated due to intentional or accidental reasons, damage due to chemicals, improper storage, and parking will not be covered under warranty.

Controller

  • Any damage to Controller due to access use, which is beyond design condition, will not be covered under warranty. Replacement or repair will be solely at the discretion of the Company.
  • Damage arising out of non-authorized service is not covered under warranty.
  • Any use of non-approved accessories will cancel the warranty.
  • Rewiring of the harness will cancel the warranty.
  • Unauthorized opening of Controller will cancel the warranty.
  • The warranty for the controller does not include damage caused due to power fluctuations, including lightning strikes, short-circuit due to water, etc.

Motor And Rim

  • All manufacturing defects will be covered under warranty. Replacement or repair will be at the discretion of the Company.
  • Any damage to Motor due to access use, which is beyond design condition, will not be covered under warranty. 
  • Opening or servicing of motor performed by other than Avon Cycles approved technician will cancel the warranty.
  • Natural wear and tear, scratches, peeling of Paint and all coatings initiated due to intentional or accidental reasons, damage due to chemicals, improper storage, and parking will not be covered under warranty.
  • Damage due to rough use, natural mishap, accidents, improper storage, natural wear, or intentional damage by the user will not come within the purview of the warranty. Damage assessment will be done and communicated to the customer before repairing.
  • Cracking of rim will not be covered under warranty.
  • The warranty for the motor does not include damage caused due to power fluctuations, including lightning
  • strikes, short-circuit due to water, or surge caused during charging, etc.

Battery

  • Storage of battery: The battery should be charged 100%, at least once a month, before storing. Also, the battery should not meet water. Failing to do so will cancel the warranty. Never store battery fully discharged. The company will not be responsible for any accident or damage due to improper storage.
  • Charging (more than 45 degrees Celsius), storing, and discharging the battery when the ambient temperature is not more than 50 degrees and less than 0 degrees Celsius will cancel the warranty. The company cannot be held responsible for any accident or damage due to improper usage.

Refund Policy

  • No Cancellation/Refund: - All prepaid orders placed successfully on www.avoncycles.com by using various payment modes including Credit/Debit card or Net banking by users will be treated as confirmed orders.
  • No Cancellation request will be accepted from the user and No Refund will be processed against any request.

Return / Exchange Policy

  • No Return No Exchange policy on the successfully delivered product as ordered.
  • All products of Avon Cycles Ltd. are covered for 1 year (One Year) warranty against any manufacturing defect.
  • We will replace the defective rubber parts (Tires & Tubes Only) against manufacturing defects within 7 working days from the date of delivery.
  • We will not take back the item (complete bicycle) for the reason that does not look like a picture we display on the website.

Faqs

Can I cancel an order?
No, you are not allowed to cancel your online order. We have no cancellation/refund policy, for it is heavy and we will not refund your entire ordered amount.

Can I change the selected Cycle model with other models?
Yes, the Customer can send us a request within 72 hours of the order confirmation through an email at onlinesales@avoncycles.com if he/she wants to change the model of Cycle selected during his successful order.
The difference of amount must be transferred to Avon Cycles account shared on email. Post confirmation of payment received order will be reprocessed as per request.
Please note that in case of change in Model request, the Order date will be considered from the date of variance amount received from the customer. Freight charges (Both Saide) has to be borne by you.

Product & Pricing Policy

  • Zero hidden charges when you make a purchase.
  • The price you see on the product page is exactly what you pay.
  • Prices are inclusive of all local taxes and delivery charges.
  • Offer/coupon codes are at the discretion of the company and can be removed anytime from the website.
  • Customer cannot claim for any new offer applicable after order placed successfully.
  • Image shown on the product page may be of highest configuration, so you are requested to see the specification of each product thoroughly before placing an order.

Supply Policy

  • Ordered products are shipped directly from the manufacturing facility/dealer to the consumer shipping address mentioned during the registration.
  • Products will be shipped within 15-20 days after payment/order confirmation.
  • Products are shipped in 80-95% fitted/assembled condition through our courier partner/dealer/transport.
  • Tracking ID will be shared through e-mail/SMS on shipment.
  • Customer can track his order on avoncycles.com using the Track now tab/ courier partner website by entering AWB/Tracking ID shared by the company.

Delay in Supplies

If for some reason, there is a delay in supply because of product is out of stock then we will notify you by email. • We are shipping all orders within 15-20 days approximately but there may be delay due to some unavoidable circumstances which will be communicated through email or call from our side. The customer must accept this as a special case.

  • All disputes limited to Ludhiana jurisdiction only.
  • The accessories shown in the imagery may not be a part of the product given away in a contest/lucky draw.
